wait_until(condition: Callable[[], _T | None], timeout: float = 5.0, *, message: str | None = None) -> _T

Calls condition until it returns a true value, and returns that value. Use this to wait for UI state that the application reaches asynchronously:

wait_until(lambda: field.accessible_value == "180")
row = wait_until(lambda: next(iter(query.find_all()), None))

While waiting, a RequestError raised by condition counts as the condition not being met yet, for example when it reads an element that the UI is replacing. Other exceptions propagate. Elements from tracking queries don’t wait past this timeout when condition uses them, so timeout alone decides how long the wait may take.

Raises WaitTimeoutError if condition isn’t met within timeout seconds. message names the condition in the error.
